« We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Den! It’s small but has everything you need and is very clean. It is an older house so the floors creak and the doors squeak but it was great for our family of four. The only thing I will say is DO NOT USE THE DRIVEWAY unless you have a truck or jeep-type vehicle. Our mini van bottomed out and got really scraped up. :( But since you can park on the street, it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Overall, it was a great stay! »

« Byron & Lisa are amazing hosts who have created a retreat for any traveler. Our visit was three generations of a family, and this provided enough space for everyone to be in the mix or find their own peace and quiet. It was such a surprise to see that it was even better than the pictures! »

« The photos were a bit misleading. The cottage itself has a dated HVAC system that just could not keep up with the house. The game room area is in the basement of the main office where you check in and you have to pay to play pool/arcade games. »
