« Old historic motel in the heart of beautiful Cave Spring Georgia. This motel started out as a hospital with rooms added for patient families. The Timbers are at least two feet square and sits on the bank of Cave Creek. It’s a very short walk to the Cave Spring and the purest spring water in the state and COLD. Some of the best antique stores, restaurants and an ice cream parlor. »

From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to.
