"It appears that this property was previously a different hotel chain whose rooms have been renovated into something quirky. It just falls below expectations of a more classy hotel. When I arrived, the room I had been assigned had been used by a heavy smoker, even though the hotel does not allow smoking. Fortunately, the really excellent desk clerk was able to move me into a different room, which was appreciated. This hotel is two floors, and has no elevator. My replacement room was on the main floor. One of the ice machines was out of commission, and the other one barely had any ice. The following morning it worked better. The sink it the room had been made of a raw-edge board mounted on a treadle sewing machine base. A cool idea, but there was not enough space to put cosmetics. All in all it was suitable and affordable, but I would not choose to stay here again."
