"Had a simple stay over before a flight, and the hotel was clean, warm and comfortable with a large sized room and was extremely quiet at night, despite being beside the airport. Ate at 'The Lounge' and enjoyed a few dishes, food was good, and there was a decent selection of TV channels to watch in the room."

"Malahide has been our go to for many years. The cricket ground has been a very special place for us as a family with great memories. We have stayed in lots of places around Malahide, this time we decided to stay in the Grand, 9/10 from checking in on line, self check in when we arrived, no need to go to reception, fantastic idea. Rooms amazing, the only thing, we couldn’t work the coffee machine, it just kept putting water in the cup! Yes we used the coffee pods. We did ask the cleaner to help, obviously he couldn’t help either. So no morning coffee was had. This was disappointing. To add to that it would have been nice to have herbal tea, and normal coffee, with sweetener's, knowing the machine didn’t work. We didn’t eat an evening meal in the hotel but the food looked delicious. Staff around the Hotel and sports centre friendly and welcoming."

"Stayed one night prior to an international flight out of Dublin Airport. We are still on the quest for a GOOD airport hotel. Front desk service was not friendly or helpful. We were checked in, given room cards and not told of any of the hotel amenities. We stopped at the desk several times asking questions, some which were never answered or answered incorrectly. One server in the Kittyhawks bar (ground level) took our drinks ordered and just walked away, never filling the order or passing it on to another server. We had much better service upstairs in the Runway 28 bar. The one truly good aspect was the shuttle bus driver who who was very kind to our 92 year old mother."

"Breakfest was great, the staff was awesome, the view was outstanding. There was a cool walking path right outside the hotel that was very cool. "

"We only stayed for one night as we were flying out from Dublin airport and it was very convenient with the shuttle running every 30 minutes. The grounds itself with a hotel were stunning. Across the way was a park that would make for a beautiful walk or hike. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I will see that the room does feel a little bit dated. However, the bed was super comfortable and it was very clean. I also think the room was exceptionally Spacious. I don’t know if there’s much around the hotel but like I said, the shuttle is only a five minute drive and drops you right off at terminal one and or terminal two."

"Really good spot to stay in the Swords area. The room was very well appointed and more roomy than some hotels we experienced in Ireland. Really nice bathroom and comfy beds. Very clean and the staff were very helpful — the manager even showed us to our room. No real lobby area in the hotel (check in is at the end of the bar downstairs) and minimal parking onsite, but we didn’t care about that. Area around the hotel is walkable and full of great shops and restaurants. There is even a castle just down the street! The Old Borough is not the Savoy, but it is not pretending to be either. It is a very good hotel and an excellent value. Would definitely stay there again."

"We loved staying at the White Sands Hotel. We enjoyed being across the street from the beach. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was a special treat! The restaurant served delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone."

"The best start to our trip! We called once we landed and the staff was amazing. Our room was ready early. The view was beautiful. The hotel was quiet, clean and right by a train station to get into town. Still dreaming about the coffee and scones I had for breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again. "
