Hygiene atrocious. 3\. Non refundable for a reason! 4\. The smelliest and dirtiest bedrooms and mattresses I’ve ever seen. I would never want to hurt someone’s business but without a doubt this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my life and I have traveled to over 20 countries and stayed in several hostels. To the owner: Please do something about this. It’s a nice area near the main station and near historical sites. The location is great; Close to Ximen station and so many places to eat nearby. Also, staff is helpful. They are not necessarily friendly but definitely helpful. Other than the location and the staff, everything else is "you get what you pay for." The room is small and filthy. We had the room and the bathroom to ourselves (4 people), yet it was still too small. We could barely open one luggage on the floor. Also, no food in the room, only in the basement common area. Lastly, you have to either rent or buy the towel. And you can only return the rental after 10am so if you have an early morning flight then you have to return the towel the night before by 11pm to receive your deposit back. I wouldn't stay at this place again whether I come back alone or with family or friends.
