At the ground floor there Is also a ittle restaurant,I ate there twice during my stay and I liked very much. 5 minutes walking from the nearest metro station and near the National Taiwan Museum. Cleanliness of room was okay, but the room is old and needs updating. Walls need to be painted. Shower door seal was broken. No hand soap. Hallways were very dirty. This hotel is more like a glorified hostel, not a hotel. Called the front desk and was told many other rooms had the same problem and they couldn’t do anything about it. This suggests the management doesn’t care. If you don’t want to carry your valuables while exploring the city, you should stay elsewhere. Also, they used to serve breakfast, but not anymore. They rented out the dining area to a restaurant, making the lobby tiny. This used to be one of my favorite hotels. Bedroom was large and bed was comfortable. They were renovating the lobby (which caused no problems for our stay) so it should be even better in the future.
