Spent one Friday night in the middle of March, 2026. Appeared to be very few people staying there that night. Let me preface this review by saying that I did not expect a four star hotel for a one star price. I was looking for the lowest price for a quick, one night stay, and found it at the Syracuse Inn. I booked the room using the Expedia App. I arrived mid-afternoon, check in was easy and uncomplicated. I was given a first floor room, parking was close and easy, as very few people were staying there. Quite a bit of trash and debris was strewn about the parking lot and property, but the interior hallway was reasonably clean. My room was also reasonably clean, but far from spotless. The bedspread had two burn holes in it, but all of the bedding appeared clean. The bathroom was also reasonably clean and the sink and shower had plenty of hot water. The TV worked fine, but not sure how many cable channels were available, as I didn’t search much. The provided microwave and fridge were fine. The only real gripes I had were no internet was available, and the pillows were really bad. Not dirty, just too soft and no head support. But, like I said at the start, I was looking for a low price and I certainly didn’t expect four-star. Would I stay there again? For another one night stay in the middle of March, yes. For a longer stay, say in the summer, maybe not.
BTW, I really liked the carpet pattern in the hallway, for what it’s worth.
