"This hotel is great in so many ways. The staff is friendly and very helpful with tips for dining and travel directions. The rooms are clean and equipped with a nightlight (which should be standard in all rooms!). Best of all is the wine bar which is open late. The staff in the bar (ours was Jan) is so knowledgeable about the wines and which to taste. Visiting the wine bar was a great way to cap off a long day of driving. I would definitely stop here again. "

"What a charming piece of history that is a fabulous place to stay! We loved everything about our stay… We only stayed one night but would absolutely go back. It’s in a perfect part of town. It’s an old historic block. The rooms are perfectly adequate. The breakfast was magnificent, happy hour that’s free. Walkable to cool restaurants. Take time to read about the place. It’s charm and coziness is it’s charm and coziness! Highly recommend staff is super nice and knowledgeable."

"So glad to find a hotel that allows pets as I was traveling with my dog. The weather was bad due to a snowstorm but we were cozy in our room. The girls at the front desk were very helpful."

"Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice. Disappointed that by 9 am there was nothing left for breakfast. The Village Tavern was a wonderful food and atmosphere experience!!"

"Randy and Kim were so welcoming and satisfied my curiosity about their whimsical farm of donkeys, Guinea hens and goats with a farm tour. The cabin is perfect for one to three folks, and was lovingly appointed. I so appreciated the opportunity!"

"A safe haven in the sea of hotels. I’m very pleased with my stay. The rooms are inviting, with tile floors that are great for people with allergies, a peaceful environment and unique decor. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. "
