Location, location, location...

Such a cute place! The photos in the listing are accurate. They've done such a good job renovating this place into a comfortable and fun 'beach adjacent' oasis. And the location is fantastic. Forgot butter for recipe you're cooking in the well-appointed kitchen? Don't worry about it! There's a Food Lion a few blocks away. There's also a Dollar Tree and a Walgreens for all of your sunscreen and toiletry needs. Half of your group wants to go to the beach and the other half wants veg out in the air conditioning eating Fantasy Isle ice cream and watching Netflix? No big deal! The beach is so close that the couch potatoes can drop off the beach people, stop at Fantasy Isle and get back before their ice cream melts. (And public parking is free by the beach after 5 pm. if everyone wants to go check out the Turtle Patrol's nests in the evening.) One thing I would note: we could tell that the previous renters must have had pets with them, because there was just little bit of a general "pet smell". We have dogs back home that didn't come with us, so it didn't bother us. But if you have allergies to pets, that might be an issue. But the house was really clean. No pet hair left behind or anything. The kitchen and bathrooms in particular were spotless. Oh, and we loved the open outdoor shower! It's always such a pain to try to keep sand out of a beach rental, but the outdoor shower made it so much better! I could go on and on, but to sum it up: this is a great rental option if you w

The house was great. Loved how close to the beach. The basket of goodies was very nice. We did have one roach, not unexpected in NC. As we have family in the area we might be interested in renting again in the future.

Very Hospitable

This property was very clean and inviting. The hosts were extremely hospitable and even left a welcome gift basket of treats for both us and our 2 dogs. We loved that the property had a fenced-in backyard for our dogs to run and play. The bed was comfortable. It was only a 5-minute drive to Holden Beach, which was very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely book "Go Fish" again for a vacation in this area.

Wonderful Experience!

We were extremely pleased with our choice of this rental property. The home was very clean and comfortable, and was well-stocked with everything we needed. It was convieniently located to stores and restaurants, and was close to the beach. It was in a quiet neighborhood. I definitely plan to stay here again.

Go Fish!

Greeted with a welcome basket as we entered the home. Beautiful layout with extra decor throughout each room. Large open floor plan that was great for the whole family, included the dog. Fenced in backyard, side yard has a fire pit and table. One of the best experiences thus far. I will definitely book again next year. From my family to yours… Thank you!
