"Excellent "

"I booked two nights at the Comfort Hotel in Bergen and was at first put into a room with a tiny window and no way of opening it. After a while, I realised I couldn't turn the aircon off and the wall behind the bed was ever so slightly shaking. At first this didn't bother me but over time, it became more and more disturbing. I felt like I was in the hull of an engine room in a huge ship and I slept terribly that night. The next day, I told reception and they immediately moved me into a lovely room with none of these issues. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I wish it hadn't happened in the first place, but the first night is the only reason why I am not giving this hotel 100%. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms have vegan soap/shampoo, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of vegan options (including different kinds of non-dairy milk and oat-yoghurt). The location is amazing too - it's within easy walking distance of the centre, harbour and ~10 minute walk to get to the tram to take you to the airport. "

"Couldn’t be more convenient for an overnight coming from Bergen airport and right beside station for a morning train to Voss. Good breakfast buffet and coffee machine in room. We walked into the Bryggen area for dinner but many guests appeared to be using the lobby bar "
