"My husband and I was celebrating our 56th anniversary, I had heard about Hotel Settles, watching a you tube channel about towns of Texas and their highlights. I thought the hotel was beautiful and I wanted to stay, the weather that particular weekend was not so great, but the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and for dinner we were complimented with a dessert for our anniversary. The food was very good, we ate the chicken fried steak, it was very good. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that was a little concerning we wanted to rent a couple of movies, but we couldn’t, the desk clerk came to our room and tried everything but never could get the movies to work. I wish I could remember her name, she was so helpful and went out of her way to help. I hope we get to stay again. The hotel was beautiful!"

"We had a comfortable stay, the sink in the bathroom was very slow but outside of that it was good, the room was clean and shower was good, the pool could have been a little warmer but it was clean and hot tub worked great. The front desk was able to accommodate us on the first floor as the elevator was down so it was a good stay and breakfast had a nice variety"
