Nos merveilleux cottages à Stand

« We had the most amazing stay at this cosy, comfortable cabin surrounded by greenery. It was like living in a tree house. The birdsong was beautiful as were the sunsets and views of the night sky. The cabin was spacious enough for two and had everything we needed for our week long stay, including parking. There is a log fire with plenty of wood for cold days but we were very lucky with the weather and had warm sunshine every day which made the cabin warm and cosy to come back to after days out....

« L'appartement n'était pas très propre, il restait des cheveux sur les théories et une odeur de moisi règne un peu partout.L'hôte n'est vraiment pas très accueillant.Le mail avec les coordonnées précises et les codes d'entrée n'a pas jamais été envoyé »

« Great location for us but sandwiched between fast road and railway line. Car parking safe if a tight squeeze.Overall clean but unidentifiable smell in lounge and air lock in shower - maybe first rental this year?Minimal contact before arrival but helpful hosts once thereBedroom the plus, king-size bed, good bed linen. An accessible plug near one of the bedside tables would have been a plus plus a coffee table in loungeEasy road access there and train access into city centre. »

« Nous avons passé trois jours dans ce très agréable cottage très cosy »

« Nice apartment in a lovely village. The guest book was a nice touch and we gleaned a good tip from previous guests' comments: free parking at Rosyth train station for an easy day-out in Edinburgh. »

« Lovely cottage on a working farm.Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. »

« It was a perfect place for our holiday. Charming cottage with a lot of place. Very well placed, 30 min to edimbourgh, 15 min to the airport. »

« BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away. The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. Having said all that, we met three of the owners and...

« Needs a little updating. But location was good »

« We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on...

« Det er en lille perle i midten af ingenting men stadigvæk tæt på Edinburgh. Helt perfekt til et par dages ferie. »
