"The RITZ Carlton, Saint Thomas. Amazing, memorable, fun and an everlasting experience. The best decision I have made about travel accommodation, in decades. This year, it was my wife's 50th and I wanted to surprise her with something unique and different. We also have 2 small children, ages 7 & 10. The Ritz Carlton was my immediate pick. Our philosophy is that if you travel somewhere unknown with small children, choose the best there is to avoid ugly surprises, disappointments or anguish. Do not penny pinch or fool yourself into thinking that you are some sort of a travel magician. I have tried that in the past, looking for deals, cut corners. . .and it turned out 50/50 in terms of excitement vs. disappointment. The Ritz Carlton Brand delivered what it is known for, worldwide. The moment we pulled into the Ritz Carlton with our rental car, the staff was extremely attentive, welcoming, happy and excited to see us. The Bellmen drove us with their golf cart to the section of the resort that is called CLUB LEVEL. Club Level is an all-inclusive accommodation, with complementary meals, beverages, specialized service, any sports gear you can possibly think of. It is a must do for anyone that expects being pampered, kick up their feet and truly forget about everything. The people, the staff, the elevated class in service, the attention to detail is what we will always remember. Every team member from concierge to service staff held the utmost professionalism. "The staff made everything easy from the start. Check-in and check-out were very quick and smooth. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. During our stay, the power went out due to the hurricane, but the hotel had a generator, so everything continued running without issue. That gave us a lot of peace of mind. I also requested an extra blanket, and it was delivered to our room within minutes. That kind of attentive service really stood out. Overall, the combination of efficient service, friendly staff, and reliable facilities made our stay very comfortable. And had a lot of places to go and eat very close. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting St. Thomas."

"All the staff was extremely helpful. Jayaire, the bartender in the lobby area was amazing. He came up with a special drink for us and it was a hit with several guests that asked what we were drinking. Other bartenders were not interested in learning it so we went elsewhere when he left daily at 5. He was amazing and made our trip even better. Best bartender!!"

"Got stuck in STT a couple of nights when flights were cancelled due to Hurricane Erin. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The restaurant and bar were delicious, and we even got a chance to walk the beach and play in the pool after the storm passed. Conveniently located near the airport was a plus for those in our party flying standby. "
