Hotel de grande qualité
Hotel style Bed en Breakfast, de style antebellum. Magnifique décoration personnalisée. Les propriétaires sont adorables et se mettent en quatre pour rendre service. Les petits déjeuners sont de grande qualité. En plus, la petite ville de St Mary's est très plaisante.

Spencer House is wonderful and I look forward to staying here again. Penny welcomed me with a glass of bubbly when I checked in so I was hooked! St. Marys’s is a hidden gem! I look forward to returning.

We spent three wonderful nights at Spencer House for our 5oth wedding anniversary. From check-in to check-out everything was perfect! The breakfast was wonderful and chef made the best croissants we have ever tasted. Picnic lunch for Cuberland Island was delicious. We felt like we made a new friend in Penny. Such a sweet person and most accommodating. Anything we needed and she was right there. Can't wait to go back!

This Bed and Breakfast greatly exceeded my expectations. I have a severe food allergy and they took such good care of me. The rooms were beautiful, the area was quaint, and I would stay here again even if i lived 1 mile down the road. Tiffany & Lyndsey are absolutely amazing and true gems.

The property has great potential. There is some rot and damage on the veranda section. Column bases rotted and railings has rot and water damage etc. The grounds were unkept. The grass needed mowed. Plants and shrubs needed pruned. Breakfast especially coffee needs to be served sooner than 7:30 am. My wife and I were taking the ferry to Cumberland island. Had to check in at 8:00. Breakfast that morning was late had to skip most of it. Wasn’t pleased with that. We still love the area the room etc. I wouldn’t book on Orbitz again. We would have gotten a better room and price if I just called the Spencer house myself and booked. The room we got was one of the cheaper rooms and we payed the price of one of the better rooms. Still we had a great time over all and didn’t let it ruin our getaway.

Charming B&B. Host was pleasant. Difficult to find dinner in town on a January Sunday night in the midst of COVID, but that’s beyond the B&B control. If We were back in St. Mary’s we would stay there again.

The Spencer House is a beautiful place both inside and outside. It is conveniently located and within walking distance to the river walk, ferry to Cumberland Island, restaurants and shops. It is a quiet location. The afternoon snack and breakfast were delicious.

Simply the best
The best place I stayed in a long time. If you enjoy historical bed and breakfast places where the owners are involved this is a must stay. Thank you owner Mary for the incredible breakfast. I couldn’t believe my nose when I headed downstairs and then the anticipation to eat the breakfast was killing me. The taste was so good. Thank you Marie for a super memorable vacation for us. And thank you for having a Tesla supercharger on site for our free use! Amazing!

Beautiful historic building and furnishings with modern updates to baths and A/C. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful with not only the internal working but extensive local info and knowledge. Breakfast was very tasty and expertly served. Looking forward to next time!!

A nice place to stay
It is a lovely place. Very Victorian. Good breakfast. We had a big room. The town is a very short walk. We arrived early and Holly seemed a bit put out with us. We were greeted with who are you and why are you here and told to go look around town. I remarked that the lovely cool living room might be an alternative. She warmed up a bit and did get our room ready an hour early and called us on our cell. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and the owner Mary was very nice.

Spencer House was awesome! Mary took such sweet care of us and all of our details. It was our anniversary and she helped to make it so very special! The house is furnished beautifully! And they strive to make sure you have the best visit possible!

Lovely B&B
This is by far the best B&B I've stayed at! It was warm inviting and friendly. The staff as well as the innkeepers were readily available to answer questions on the inn history, recommendations for dinner and any other questions we had. The bed was comfortable in a cozy room with a nice size bathroom. The 2nd floor covered verandah overlooks the street and has a gorgeous view of the sunsets. Breakfast was the right amount of food and quite tasty. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Our room was so small, I was claustrophobic but the next day they moved us to a much nicer room. I have allergies and was affected by bad problems firing the visit. I couldn’t sleep because it was too hot. I told them and they said they’d cool it off, but I had no control

Great Stay!
We enjoyed our first stay at the Historic Spencer House B&B! Comfortable and large room, 2 queens, room 202. Comfortable bed. Bath/shower very nice. Great toiletries! Great walkable location to town! Have dinner at Lang’s Marina is a must! Loved the sweet tea in the afternoon with a sweet treat, took my tea on the porch. During the 4th watched the neighborhood fireworks from the second floor balcony. Filling Breakfast very accommodating, having specialities of the day, options for made to order eggs etc.. if any diet restrictions. Great coffee! Mary, Kelly and the rest of the staff are super friendly! Mary is happy to suggest local restaurants and activities etc...
