Thanks to the technician and staff who work diligently to keep the pool in excellent condition. (I heard that they test the water every two hours.) The pool is very clean. "Beautiful hotel, but unfortunately the experience left me feeling really uncomfortable. About 30 minutes after checking in, a hotel staff member attempted to enter my room without warning. Thankfully I had the latch closed, but I was already settled into the room and on a work meeting when it happened. Regardless of what I was doing, having someone try to enter an occupied room unexpectedly is completely inappropriate and honestly made me uneasy for the rest of my stay. I reported it to the front desk shortly after and was given a complimentary drink coupon, but the situation itself was never really addressed in a meaningful way. The other major disappointment was the food. The restaurant service staff were kind and attentive, but the food itself was genuinely poor. My meal was dry, overcooked, and not enjoyable. I brought it to the attention of the restaurant manager at the time, but nothing was done. Later, the hotel offered to send up an alternate room service item instead. Unfortunately, that was somehow even worse. The vegetables looked dried out and old, ingredients listed on the menu were missing, and the entire plate looked unappetizing and poorly prepared. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself is beautiful, but between the room privacy issue and the disappointing food experience, this stay did not meet expectations."
