"They are undergoing a management change, and every guest is unhappy. The manager was very kind to me and treated me to a complimentary dinner. He did his best, but there is only so much one person can do! However, I will not go back until all the new management issues are fixed. It was a hot mess and not the resort you pay that kind of money to go to. It was almost a waste of money to be honest, and the pool was not really heated as promised, and it was miserable. Also, getting food and drinks during the day took hours. I hope they figure it out, but I am so glad I did not bring my husband bc we would never be going back. "

"When arrived room smelled a little musty. Beds very comfortable. Free coffee vouchers were nice and great view of ocean from shop. Restaurant on site was okay, slow service, breakfast good but not great, coffee lukewarm as was breakfast buffet. At lunch, fish tacos and sweet potato fries were good."

"It was not mentioned at check in that if you wanted maid service for your room you had to request it a head of time. Would have been nice to know that so I could have my room refreshed and more coffee and towels. When I did request it at the front desk they were quick to react."

"We went to Jekyll Island for a Sisters Week and Hampton Inn did not disappoint! As soon as you stepped into the lobby, you could feel the warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member greeted us and we even developed friendships while there. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was always attended to and it was an excellent temperature. The breakfast had lots to offer and the boardwalk to the beach was one of our favorite spots. James, the manager, gave us lots of places to explore while on the island and he was such a pleasant person to talk to. We just loved being here and want to come back."
