« We’ve spent the last 5 years here for the July 4th celebrations and we always love it. However, many things had changed and not all for the good. The biggest complaint among our group and many others was their legendary pizza is no longer available! We’ve been enjoying that pizza for probably over 15 years and this year they changed the recipe and it wasn’t great at all. They also remodeled their pizza/ice cream area and only offer 3 flavors of ice cream now as before it was usually 6-7 flavors....

We had traveled down for a funeral and booked the room for one night and realized when we arrived that we were extremely more tired than we had thought we would be so asked about keeping the room for another night and they were glad to help us out and gave us the same rate that we had for the first night. « The lady at the front desk was probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and patient. She changed our room to a first floor room so my mother could have easier access due to her poor mobility. She also made fresh coffee for me and my sister. Little things like that make a world of difference! Also, when we walked into our room, we could tell it had been cleaned thoroughly. It actually SMELLED clean. You don’t always get that smell when you stay in a hotel. »

« This was an excellent hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The entire property was clean and maintained. The pool area was beautiful and very clean. I stayed with my four daughters and they loved it. The location was perfect, with just short drives to public beach access, shopping and restaurants. We saw two concerts at the Wharf Amphitheater, and it was only a 15 minute drive to get there. We enjoyed our stay. »

« My room was very disturbing to me when I opened up the drawers to spray In the drawers, in the third drawer, there were some human underwears like man's. Then I called the front desk and she came and got them. I continued to spray the bathroom, there was a bar of soap in the shower that had been USED!!!!!!!
