"This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."

"Charming cottage style flat well decorated with interesting local art and great views out to the harbour and castle. TV a bit tricky to set up for local news and difficult to remove subtitles on bbc iPlayer. Bathroom a bit cold at times and not on same floor as bedroom and lounge. In need of some painting to upgrade. Otherwise very convenient for all amenities."

"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"

"Park Cottage is set in a lovely location in Cally Woods (so many great walks and cycle opportunities). Also with use of the Cally Palace Hotel facilities including the swimming pool. However the house was unclean, especially the kitchen with unusable pans and not enough cutlery to sit 9 people in one setting. There was black mould on the downstairs bathroom ceiling. Such a shame as the cottage is a great space for families and could be lovely, but when I have fed back about these issues I have...

"Very pleased with the size of the rooms . The lounge had enough seating for all of our party (11) and the large dining table was excellent. The bedrooms were roomy, including a couch as well as beds. The only downside was the 3 bathrooms were some distance away. A toilet at either end would have been more practical. "Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children."
