Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge

"Despite a grouchy older lady behind the counter at check-in, I won’t let her ruin the review of the hotel itself. It is beautiful, the view of Denali is amazing and the room was great. The bed was very comfy. The hotel sits off the main road so it’s very quiet. We were asked at check-in if we wanted a wake-up call if the Northern Lights were out and we said yes. At 2:45am, we got the call and got some amazing photos! There’s a restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop inside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This cabin is a hidden gem—immaculately clean and well-kept. Todd and Anna are wonderful, welcoming hosts. Winding down by the evening fire pit was the highlight of our stay. Highly recommend"

"Great view! Staff and breakfast was wonderful! Proprietor Dawn was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great advice and insights into local sightseeing options. I wished I’d planned to stay longer, i.e., several days would have been better. Highly recommend this lodge."

"My cousin and I stayed here 3 nights for our very first trip to Alaska! We had an unforgettable time here and felt very comfortable every night :D. The heater was great, the kitchen area was used everyday, the movie selection was amazing, the location was wonderful, no complaints what so ever. Thank you Curt!"

"Lovely little cabin in the woods. So quiet and peaceful. Short drive from the town of Talkeetna on the Spur Road with a full private bath. Kahiltna Birch Works just a short drive away and a must stop for some late run birch syrup and fireweed ice cream. Yum!"
