"We had an Oceanview room on the first floor and the view from the front porch was outstanding - maybe 50-75’ of beach to the water from the front sidewalk. There were half a dozen palapas spread out on the beach in front of the rental units and the HUGE pool that has a swim-up bar. The pier goes out to the hotel restaurant, which looks very new, with updated decor and a very professional and courteous staff. They are in the process of renovating rooms and adding a conference center, but the construction really didn’t bother us. The pool umbrellas and lounge chairs are a little tattered, but are probably on the list to be replaced during the reno. Overall, an excellent experience! "

"Delightful staff. Checkin was immediate and efficient. They held our bags until our room was ready and put the bags in the room for us. The rooms we had were clean, large and spacious. Kitchen included the basics along with an endless (just call) supply of ground coffee. Very nice pool and hot tub on the beach. Complimentary kayaks and morning yoga three times a week. Very nice Embers restaurant right next door where our included breakfast was served by a delightful staff "

"Wow - this place is AH-mazing! We simply had the best time at Naia. We stayed in the beach bungalows which were beautiful and spacious rooms - the bathrooms were perfectly laid out. I especially loved the covered patio on the from with a table and chairs so we could sit outside and play cards and have drinks. The property is well taken care of and the staff is always cleaning up the beach and making sure the place looks top notch. The staff is wonderful, remembering our names and favorite drinks - such nice people. We also did a couple's spa day which was the ultimate treat - what an unforgettable experience. Naia is a special place and we plan on returning again. Thank you to the incredible staff for making our trip and Naia perfect!"

"Beautiful property, right on the beach - rooms were clean, and well appointed. The resort also has a great restaurant on site, and is a 20-30 min drive to other restaurants, cafes and bars in Placencia. Staff were wonderful throughout as well "

"Our group of two couples spent a week in a villa on the beach side of the Umaya Resort and absolutely loved it. The unit was nicely appointed and truthfully feet away from the Caribbean Sea. Anytime we had a concern they were very prompt to respond. They transferred us to and from the Placencia Airport free of charge. While there we ordered dinner through the Fyah Beach Bar, pizza at Don Tonito's and breakfast in their Casa de Maiz restaurant. All were very delicious food. We also booked two of our excursions through them with great communication from them. The only thing we would recommend for them to make improvements on would be to provide dish cloths, towels and pot holders in the kitchen. We will absolutely book our next Belize vacation at the Umaya Beach Resort!"
