Crowne Plaza College Park - Washington DC by IHG

Crowne Plaza College Park - Washington DC by IHG

8/10 Good
"Hotel was really nice and had newer looking carpet in the room but a few things could be improved. Our room fridge didn't cool well but we made due with ice. I think $61.50 is a lot for parking for 4 days on a private lot that's only for hotel guests it would be different if there was a garage with shared parking like a downtown location. And I really don't understand why hotels don't have microwaves in the rooms. The fact that there's only one to share in the lobby for such a huge place is ridiculous if the cheap motels can have them in the rooms so should you and I'm sure a lot of guests would appreciate that convenience. Also the fact that you had to go to the lobby for ice when our room was on the 7th floor. However the room was very clean and nice the shower was amazing my only gripe about the room was that there was only 3 pillows this is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't provide 4 pillows for a king size bed. We made due with 3 only due to the fact that they were decent fluffy pillows and didn't really go flat like some hotel pillows do. Bed was very comfortable though despite the 3 pillow situation. I did appreciate that the room had a Keurig instead of those cheap coffee makers some hotels have because I was able to bring my own coffee pods nothing worse than weak watered down coffee. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall I would say it is a good choice for a place to stay and I would stay again if in the area again."
