"Everyone knows about the elevators ! So I won’t complain much about them , But I would say some of the staff was a bit rude , I blew it off most the time but I wish they wouldn’t have the attitudes they had . We had a really good bartender Jameson ! He was fast & got us in & out ! The staff at the Alabama ice Cream shop were also Great ! Got us in & out as well , super friendly! Definitely recommend coming to Laketown Wharf"

"This was a really nice house, great place by the beach. Kitchen had nice non stick pans to cook in, they provide 6 beach towels and about 4 bathing towels per bathroom. This property doesn’t provide unmbrellas, chairs , wagon or beach toys, but you can rent umbrellas and chairs from property management company for a price. There are things that need some attention, like the garbage disposal was dripping from underneath the sink, so we could only use one side of the sink to wash dishes. In my family we like to cook so that was a big deal to us. Property manager said they couldn’t get it fixed until they had time between reservations. Also there were no working light bulbs in the third floor patio, so make sure to bring your own. The washing machine smelled when we got there so I had to run a cleaning cycle with bleach. We did have a problem with the ac not cooling but the property manager sent someone out the same day. Other than that, we really enjoyed this house, it was super convenient and this location was great for my teens to explore."

"I can’t say enough good things about this house! The beach access is AWESOME; there are about 4 different walkways right outside the front door, and they’re all really easy! maybe a 3-5 min walk from the door to the water. You are RIGHT on the beach. And, lots less people directly in front of the houses than in front of the big resorts. As far as the house itself - very comfy and well-stocked. The bedrooms are big, and there’s a ton of sleeping space (if you’ve got a little, the main bedroom even has a pack n play). All kinds of cooking utensils and appliances, and there’s a stocked spice cabinet. plenty of towels and a good starter stock of dish/laundry detergent as well. We didn’t need to bring nearly as much extra stuff as we usually do. Full sized washer and dryer and almost every room has a Roku TV. Decent stock of games and puzzles and kid toys for days when you’re inside (FYI - we did the 1000-piece puzzle…don’t drive yourself nuts trying to find pieces that aren’t there, there’s a few pieces missing). Great water pressure in the showers and the heater doesn’t ever run out.Backyard/pool - fully stocked. Pool is plenty warm by mid-summer, no need to have it heated (and I’m a wimp about water temp). Lots of pool/beach toys, there’s cornhole and a fire pit and a grill and a giant connect 4 game outside.All in all, probably my favorite place I’ve ever stayed on a beach trip. Definitely plan to rebook here next summer!"

Sea Escape! Stunning Gulf-View Retreat with Private Pool

"We rented this property for us, our children and grandchildren. For the past 10 years we have stayed at a condo down the beach, we decided to make a change and stay in a house so we wouldn’t have to fight for parking or wait for elevators. We were unsure if the house was going to live up to the condo amenities. All 17 of us were happy we made the change. Everything was excellent, the size of the house, the cleanliness of the house and we had our own pool. The grandkids had a great time. The beach access is directly in front of the house, we never had to wake up at the crack of dawn to get our perfect place on the beach, at times we felt like it was our own private beach. We will definitely be back when we return to the area!"
