"I have to say from the minute we got to the hotel to when we left I really couldn't fault Metta at all, they were incredible. We checked in on May 25th and stayed till the 29th, we caught a sleeper bus so we got there really early like around 5:30am and our plan was just to drop off the bags, do a quick change and then head off to explore siem reap. But soon after William (Manager) came in and found out about our early check in and said that he can get our room ready in the next hour (this was at like 7am) and even better he told us to go have breakfast and the restaurant (technially we hadn't paid for that day). We told them we were fine with getting the room like we should around 2pm but they insisted they would do their best to get out room ready and to have breakfast on them! I couldn't believe how generous and great the staff were.
We stayed there 4 days and we loved every minute of it. The room was great, the hospitality was amazing, the food was incredible, there was even a happy hour by the pool in the evenings where the staff would chat and get to know the guests. We loved every bit of it, they accomodated all our needs and if you were planning to book a place this would be it. You won't regret it, I will recommend this place to anyone who decides to stay in Siem Reap. A hidden gem in my eyes, a beautiful hotel with beautiful people, thank you for making our stay as incredible as it was."
"I have stayed at this hotel previously and have seen the deteriation that is taking place there they gave me a room where black mould was growing along the grouting in the shower there was exposed electrical wiring to the shower unit and at 1 - 00am an electric pump fired up outside the room pumping water loudest noise ever I changed rooms the next day where the shower was in the same state with black mould I went out and bought bleach to treat the mould which did kill the mould tv in rooms did not work staff could not get them to work had to try three safes before I got one that worked and if you wanted your room done you had to go to reception and request housekeeping to clean your room I suggest that you take a look at this hotel I will not be staying there again. I will most probably try a condo next time"
"Perfect for a stay in Siem Reap. Private pool in the villa, staff very friendly and useful. Not far from Siem Reap center in Tuktuk. Good food. A very well deserved rest after visiting the temples of Angkor."
"This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of character enriched by wooden floors and excellent set of wooden furniture. Rooms are of generous size and beautifully decorated. The only aspect that needs improving is the bathroom which looks a little dated. It has a long swimming pool, very friendly staff, variety of fresh foods at breakfast buffet and an ever helpful front desk. Overall, our 3 day stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again."
"There’s not much to say, other than that this place was perfect. The attention to detail was amazing. I looked for flaws too, and found none.
The staff and manager were excellent. Very attentive.
I only stayed here one night a week ago, but I would loved for it to be longer.
This is a 100 year old hotel that is maintained to perfection."
"The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and is very clean. The pool is beautiful. There is a wide selection at breakfast. It was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had as a family."
