"Was a great house for the 4th. Our family loved it. Had lots of firewood and access to beach wasn't too bad (if you don't mind a short hike). Only major negative was the door would auto-lock nearly instantly which was a bit of a frustrating experience for a group going in and out"

"This is a great property. The cabin is older, as are some of the furnishings, but things that matter such as appliances, furniture cushions and bedding/mattresses/towels, etc, are new and appliances work very well and bedding is comfy. Everything is spotless and well organized. If you're not familiar with Arch Cape it is between the better known Cannon Beach to the north, and charming Manzanita to the south. It is easy to get to restaurants and grocer's in either town. This cabin is high on the hill, the beach immediately below, and surrounded by large trees. Stunning. But I should point out if you're from a hot climate as are we (AZ) you may find the inside of the house quite chilly as not much sun gets in and each morning we awoke to about 63 degrees indoors. The home does have a heat pump that took the morning chill off quite quickly -- but we loved sleeping in the cooler temps! This would be a nice house for couples or mutli-gen travelers. Photos on the posting are accurate."

"Very nice property, great kitchen for cooking. We also appreciated that it was relatively child-proofed (minimal glass/breakable decorations) so we were able to relax with our 2-year old daughter. Beach is super close and very nice. We would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful, clean home with almost anything you could need ready and waiting, even go bags in case of tsunami. The host was very informative before our stay. We enjoyed the quick beach access, cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen, binoculars, and a relaxing hot tub with a view protected from the wind. The dining / living room view of the beach was awesome to wake up to and have meals in. We got to see the stars, sand dollars, tide pools, Cannon Beach rabbits, and even a bald eagle being chased by seagulls after catching a bird at Haystack Rock. It was also fun spotting the garden gnome in the tree outside the house. We would love to stay again."
