« The cabin is outstanding! Simple and cozy with a view you normally see on a postcard. This is also the first house I’ve stayed in with newer kitchen equipment IE pots, pans, knives. If you go during hunting season keep an eye out for the hunting blinds along the hiking trail. This wasn’t an issue by any means just thought it’s good thing to mention. Maybe wear a bright colored shirt. »

« As noted from many other reviews, you get what you pay for. This place is barely holding its head above water before it’s massively renovated or shut down. One staff on shift, I had to search to find to check in, took almost 10 minutes, and I did smell alcohol on her breath. Once I got through check in, it was a quiet night. Probably would stay again. »

« Check in and communication were excellent. Property was very well maintained and clean as a whistle.Guest instructions were very clear and appreciated. Wifi, kitchen, and amenities all good. Was a quick stay as we drove down 80 and needed a pit stop but gave a good respite and was much appreciated. »

« Incredible views of the Allegheny river. Lovely historic property!! Great food at the restaurant, and was very fun to rent bikes on-site! Special mention to John, who took my son fishing (they are ramping up boat and fishing experiences) just because he loves to fish, with no expectation of compensation. Wonderful people. I am hoping Foxburg does not grow too much such that it would lose this quiet charm. »
