"Property was extremely clean. The room had some minor issues like the bathroom sinks weren’t properly vented so it smelled like sewage when you ran the water. There was definitely some patchwork done on the walls. The TV in the bedroom did not have any channels and for some reason the AC unit and the bedroom did not get as cool as the AC unit in the living room, but there was a ceiling fan so we survived. The staff was extremely friendly. We did not use any of the pools, but they looked beautiful. The restaurants were mediocre so we mostly off property. The private beach was nice however there was a lot of seaweed. I would highly recommend making the trip to Savvy On the Bay if you want calm, clear water with no seaweed."

"The room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, bed was very comfy, though the room was a little bit older. I had a king bed and a twin bed as well as microwave, sink, oven, fridge, toaster, etc... everything in working order. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low but we were on the top floor and it was sufficient. If you hope to take the bus around the island, the closest stop is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. (Each time you jump on the bus it is $3.50 BB) It's a 15-minute ride to Carlisle Bay, unless traffic is congested in the mornings. The taxi from the airport to the hotel was about $30 us. The pool was clean and a nice quiet place to lay down in a sun chair. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the ocean, But we did our beach time over at Carlisle Bay. Some people may feel a little uncomfortable walking through some of the neighborhoods that are nearby, but I tend to be a wanderer and probably walked through more of the areas than a typical tourist. When you're a tourist, it's always good to walk around with a friend anyway. Everyone was friendly. Overall, this is not a four-star hotel. It really is a three-star hotel but the overall experience with the staff and the room amenities for the price gave this a four for me. And it worked great for me as a hub to jump on tours of the island etc. if I just wanted to hang out at the beach I would probably get a place closer to Carlisle Bay."

"Hébergement sous forme de suite avec kitchenette, tout équipée, endroit sécuritaire et très propre. Le personnel était agréable et accueillant. Le remplacement des serviettes se faisait chaque jour, accessibilité à des serviettes de plage à l’aide de carte remise par le Resort. Il y a 3 piscines, jardin, endroit de jeux pour les enfants, salle de gym… L’endroit est beau, dans un quartier animé en soirée, des petits commerces sont disponibles, des restaurants également. L’hôtel n’offre pas la possibilité d’un tout inclus, mais il y a des restaurants qui servent le petit déjeuner, le dîner et le souper, paiement à moyen de cartes seulement aucun cash n’est accepté par le Resort. La seule chose à laquelle je ne m’y attendais pas, ce fut la plage qui n’est pas très praticable, il fallait se déplacer aux alentours comme à Bridgetown pour avoir accès de meilleures plages avec eaux turquoises. Il y a des frais pour cela mais ce n’est pas cher avec les commodités offertes."

"If you are older (60+), family with a small child, or burnt out and need a quiet no frills getaway- this is the spot. If you’ve looking for day parties and a turn up crowd- this ain’t the place. You can see the property is “seasoned” and the staff is fairly nice. I will also say - beware of going at this time of the year if you’re a beach lover - there is a big seasonal seaweed problem that happens every year and it makes the water unusable. You have to take a taxi to a beach up the west side of the island to see their white sand and clear waters."

"The staff is what makes this place so nice to go to. But unfortunately the facility is just something outdated. We unfortunately came on a time where the seaweed washed ashore which is something that happens and because of that we were unable to use any of the water sports amenities. This really put a damper on the trip. You're not told this when you book but to call and get food delivered to your room you must have Butler Service or there is no room service. The staff was nice enough to accommodate for my girlfriend's birthday for one day. I've just never have stayed at a resort or any hotel that doesn't have room service. We try to go play tennis one day and there was only one tennis ball available that look like it was sitting in a mud pile for a couple days. The staff is what makes this Resort. The facility itself can use some upgrade in which they're in the process of doing. Give it two or three years and I wouldn't recommend giving it a try"
