"A pleasant surprise. This stay has changed my mind about staying at econolodge. It was clean quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was strictly a continental breakfast...very little protein. It seems to be family run and was very family friendly. "

"This is our 5th time staying here. We have other family on the lake and this place is clean, convenient and everything you could need for a great lake vacation. We took the pontoon out for a couple spins around the lake and it was super easy to drive and dock. Thanks Again for another great Holiday Week. "

"My husband and I have been to this VRBO twice and will return. This place is so peaceful and secluded. The sunsets beautiful. To hear the breeze blowing through the leaves on the trees priceless. Jim checked in several times with us. Our sweet Golden Ivy came with too! A little slice of heaven in Hayward."

"Very nice place. Small but it had everything I needed. Excellent variety of breakfast options. Pleasant, helpful and efficient front desk staff. This place doesn't have an elevator so I requested ground floor room and got exactly what I requested in spite of traveling over a very busy weekend!"

"To get to the property we traveled on a gravel, but well maintained road. About 40 geese greeted us - running from the backyard to the lake! What a fun sight to see. Later we saw deer in multiple places and sat on the pier by the lake. The large lawn was freshly trimmed/ mowed. Indoor and outdoor games were available. Fully furnished kitchen and bath.The only issue we had was that the AC/heat units were not functioning due to a mechanical issue requiring a service call. They said we could bring down the upstairs unit (which we didn't feel comfortable doing on our own) and also offered go and buy another one. The hot weather cooled down, so we were ok with it not functioning.We would defiantly recommend this spot if you are wanting peace and tranquility. A great place for a family gathering."
