"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. "This hotel is simply great. Rooms are super clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary with many options to chose from. I had a room upgrade because of my status in Expedia and they gave me a room with a great view to the Bund a bottle of wine. Location is excellent mid Nanjing Road so you can take walks anytime you like, shopping and close to metro station East Nanjing Rd - so you can move anywhere with ease. This was previously the Sofitel Hotel but I think now its even better. Staff super friendly. I extended my stay in Shanghai in this specific hotel (had other options) for the reasons mentioned above. Will definitely come back!"
