"This is such a unique hotel. Kinda old school, but super exciting for my kids. The pool is big and very deep on one end (9 feet!). Since it's inside, it stays warm. The hot tub seemed to never stay full enough. I think it's because younger children kept popping in and splashing all the water out of it. Staff was on hand to remind parents that only kids 14 and up should be allowed in the hot tub, but parents still ignored the signs. The mini golf course was more interesting than it looked from afar, with some fun challenges, although my kids wanted the windmill to turn. They also loved the climbing tube thingy that was so fun until parents allowed their kids inside all wet from the pool so there were puddles inside. So basically it was other parents not supervising their kids that made the stay less enjoyable. The game room could have used more video games and less claw-type machines, but it still featured skee ball and air hockey table. There were lots of extras you could pay for like massage chairs, hurricane chamber and basketball toss. First room, the phone didn't work and they gave us an inside room that had zero view of the pool area (we were behind a wall). Our new room was in a corner on the 2nd floor so we could use the trolly for our bags and had a nice outside space to sit and see the pool/fun area. The strangest thing is that you can exit to but cannot re-enter your room from the pool area and have to go around to hallway door. Breakfast was very good."

"I thought about giving this hotel 3 stars, but that seemed unfair. It was OK, nothing great but nothing horrible either. Tucked back in behind a truck stop and a couple of fast food places. There were lots of issues, but none of them alone was enough to make it drop my score to 3 stars. Pros: Comfortable bed, TV station selection. Clean overall. Proximity to McDonald's, Arby's and truck stop convenience store. Starbucks & Burger King on the other side of the highway. Frig & Microwave in the room. Plenty of free parking. AC worked fine, although I had to run it at 66 degrees to get the room somewhat cool. Cons: NO ELEVATOR!! I was on the second floor. Ugh. Bathroom sink had no stopped and drained slowly. With the open drain, I could see the nasty hair that was likely causing the drainage issues. The desk was wobbly to the point I was afraid to use it. The office chair is not adjustable. It was set very low - felt like I was back in elementary school. Plug-ins are on the lamps -- unfortunately, the lamp design made it impossible to plug in my charger adapter. Fortunately, I had an extension cord. Recommend you do the same. Odd cable setup. Remote is keyed to an older-looking modem. Remote barely worked - I got the TV turned on, but I could only get a button to respond every 10 tries or so. Couldn't turn the TV off with the remote. Red stains (likely juice, definitely not blood) on carpet. Unknown: Breakfast. The reviews are not good, so I never bothered to check it."

"We enjoy this hotel. The front desk staff corrinne and Julien was amazing. The BF was above decent and Corrine even made cookies when we checked in. I would've given 5 stars but, in the morning the Housekeeping staff kept knocking (3x) on our door at 1030, even after we yelled that we were still in the room. Then proceeded to come in. Thank GOD we had the lock chain on the door. Other than that everything was A1!"
