"Room was very clean, staff were very courteous and helpful. Onsen facility was very good. Dining options were limited. The cafe, food court, bakery were closed after 4pm, so dinner choices were limited to the expensive restaurants, unless you have transport and willing to travel to Myoko town."

"Amazing personal service from start to finish. Christo and his front of house staff are accommodating of all requests. We were kindly picked up at Kurahemei station. Shuttled to our ski areas or the 7/11 for snacks or the Nihonte restaurant. We were even assisted with our transfer to our next destination Shiga Kogen with our own tour guide the delightful Luna. Our room was lovely with a magnificent view of Lake Noriji. The temperature of the room was always perfect, not sure how this was managed."

"We had a great one night stay... the room was quiet as requested, hotel spotless and staff helpful. Good breakfast with all food choices well stocked. Hotel ideal for stop over and could also work for a longer stay. "

"Room was massive, double the size of any room we have stayed in in Japan. Pillows had both Western and traditional Japan options. Fiona was encompassed in a fitted sheet (never seen this before) but kept us all warm even when it was sub 0 outside. Room had access to outdoor area, exclusive to the room, which had table and chairs. As it was an insensitive, there was only a toilet in the room - all showering had to be done downstairs in the onsen. Onsen was boiling hot - too hot for most of our group. Tip - if you don’t want to keep pushing the button to keep the water going har a shower in the onsen on the left. Location wise was great too - couple of minutes to the train (although up a very steep hill) and near lots of restaurants and the bus for the Snow Monkeys. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025. This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking! The restaurants here are also delicious!"
