View, hiking, cooking in room. You only have to go outside and breathe in the beauty. Our property is located in what is the last rural area in Sedona. When you stay with us, you will truly get the Sedona experience. The guestroom has an ajoined patio to the kitchen area where there are plenty of birds and all kinds of wildlife. In the courtyard is a large fireplace and a pretty sweet little pizza oven. Our view is the best in town, no kidding, we get hundreds of people that stop right out in front of our property to take pictures. The sunsets are incredible when the sun hits Cathedral Rock, sunrise can give great colors. it literally is the most beautiful place in the world, right out your front door. You just don’t get this anywhere else in Sedona. The room is very quiet , with private entrance and virtually no contact with the other guests that are on property. We have 2 suites. The apartment has a very nice fully equipped kitchen space to sit and play cards or board games and 2 comfy chairs to kick back and relax after a day of hiking the nearby trails. The bedroom has a 42” flat screen TV and TiVo too, so you can record that game while your out exploring Sedona. There is NO separate living room in this room, but you don’t need it. You will want to spend your time in our quaint kitchen or out on the spacious patio and enjoy some quality birdwatching. You might even see a few Javalina or raccoons. There is also a tv outside so you can enjoy watching with great view and good weather. We have Ebikes available on the property, we have several to choose from. Ask about our tour prices. WiFi has been great, but during inclement weather it can be sketchy. Cell service can be a bit sketch too if it’s not a Verizon phone. ATT is not great here, that’s all of Sedona not just us. We do not allow extremely large vehicles ie motor homes, or atvs on trailers. There was only a handful of days that we could sit outside and enjoy the courtyard. It was the large outdoor area that really attracted us to this property, but January 2023 was not the time for outdoor enjoyment. If this had been any other year we would have had a totally different experience here. Lots of trails were either icy, or very muddy from the melting snow and ice. Normally they would have been dry and easy to walk. This property has plenty of great hiking trails in the neighbourhood to explore, however it is best to have your own transportation to get in and out of town for groceries etc. Carolyn and “Arizona” were excellent hosts, easy to get hold of if we had any questions, or “need to knows” about the area. ##### Brett H. We had a wonderful experience at Carolyn's home. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place. The suite is exactly as listed- but you can't see completely feel the charm of the place in the photos. The patio and view is to die for. The kitchen has all your needs. The bed is comfy and the shower is great. The location is off the main drag- which we loved. It has a perfect amazing view of Cathedral Rock, and hikes within walking distance. I can't recommend enough taking Carolyn's ebike tour. We did it the morning after we arrived and it was fabulous. She showed us all around the West Sedona area, filled us in on some history of the area, and took us to amazing photo ops. It was so much fun. Hope to come back one day!!! ##### Kathleen P. Stayed here for a week with my husband and had the best time. Carolyn's place provides privacy (as you have a little cute yard to yourself) but she's right there if you have any questions and as locals her and her husband had some great recommendations for us. Our space was very clean and well kept. The best part of this house is the beautiful view as you have a perfect view of cathedral rock from the front of the house! We also loved that we were out in the country away from the town noise but just a very short driving distance to uptown and all of the great hikes. Cant wait to come stay here again and looking forward to sitting in front of the firepit that her husband was in the process of building! ##### Taylor M. Casa is A ground floor apartment that is well designed and a Great Comfortable Space. Full kitchen, Nice Bedroom With recliner love seat to double as living room. Lovely bathroom with great tile work. Fenced in yard with lots of eclectic and fun artifacts around with a great Covered porch area. We LOVED having morning coffee out side. Hosts Carol and "Dude" are GREAT folks and a plethora of information about the area having lived there for 35 years. Super friendly and fun. I would love to rate them with 5 stars but in good conscience I can not because in ALL of our travels I have not experienced such an overall lack of cleanliness. Since we had a 3 week stay I knuckled down and did what I needed to be reasonably comfortable for our stay. As a good Girl Scout I left it much better than when I arrived.
