A beautiful single storey barn conversion with exposed roof trusses, stone walls and wood burning stove in a central fireplace. The Byre offers outstanding holiday accommodation for eight guests  looking for a touch of luxury in a lovely seaside location. Interiors are sociable and spacious with open plan living, perfect for a celebration get together with family and friends at any time of year… the underfloor heating keeps the property cosy whatever the season.
This eco friendly cottage has a wonderful courtyard and garden with uninterrupted sea views towards the Farne Islands. It’s just a short walk into the village of Seahouses for local shops, pubs and cafes and the beach is within easy reach too…  about a mile away.
Byre is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which  clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne. Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.

Living:  sofa seating, WiFi, large TV.
West wing :
Bedroom 1: super king size bed, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights,
Ensuite : access to the family bathroom with bath and rain shower (jack n'jill style access).
Bedroom 2 : super king size bed, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights,
Ensuite : shower, WC, wash hand basin.
 
South wing:
Bedroom 3: super king size bed, walk in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights,
Ensuite: shower, WC, wash hand basin.
Bedroom 4: twin beds, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights,
 
Entertainment : WiFi, large TV with DVD.
For families: cot and a highchair can be hired - please provide your own cot linen and towels @ £10.00 per week per item.
Outside: enclosed garden patio area.
Parking : off road parking for 3 cars.
General : WiFi. Bedding (duvets per bed & 2 pillows per person), bed linen, towels (hand & bath sheet per person, plus bathroom hand towels). Underfloor heating. October-March initial supply of logs, kindling and matches. Welcome Pack : tea, coffee, sugar, milk, locally baked bread and cake, preserve and butter.
