« Our unit was very clean. The unit was well furnished, excellent amenities. Outdoor needs renos. There are stairs, you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. The area is mostly quiet, but... Suites have a communicating door that let the sounds (voices and tv) go through easily. Maintenance starts making noise before 8AM every morning and nobody seems to care; I've talk to people at the desk and the answer I got meant "it is what it is, it won't change, we don't care" »

« Bill and Veda made our stay at the Cypress House Inn so warm, inviting and comfortable! The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable with both firm and soft pillows provided, and bathroom was beautifully designed with a roomy shower and handheld showerhead for convenience. Right outside our room was a well-stocked coffee and tea bar with filtered water available. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was such a delight to share it with Bill, Veda, and the other guests who were staying. Location...

« Beau motel, propre, changement de serviettes à tous les jours. Directement sur la plage. Grand frigidaire et petite plaque à induction. Barbecue aux briquettes à l’extérieur. Ma chambre était face a la piscine, belle emplacement. Je recommande, prêt de restaurants ( sea food juste devant excellent ), épicerie, etc. J’y retournerai c’est sur. »

« Had an unplanned overnight stay at the beach after a motorcycle breakdown. Staff was super friendly, good food in the restaurant and the room was clean and smelled good. Weather was terrible, but the hotel more than made up for the drama we had to deal with! »

« We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again. »

« It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.! »

« My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful. »

« The property was right on the beach/sand dunes. There is a set of stairs and a ramp over the Dune from the parking lot. We had a ocean front room with balcony that was very enjoyable. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, full bank of windows facing the Ocean and nice bathroom. Breakfast was a treat every morning with fresh brewed coffee and a hot or cold breakfast; In tidy surroundings. Hotel is centrally located for restaurants, sites and fun. Ample parking.
