Cheap stay if you are visiting Bern. Clean but more like a bnb than an out and out hotel No staff or restaurant working when we arrived Good point only 15 mins on train into Bern and frequent trains

Nice hotel. The staff seem friendly and breakfast is included which is great given that Switzerland is quite expensive but it is located in a small town/village on the outskirts of Bern so it is best to check train times especially if you’re planning to go out in the evenings

This little Swiss hotel is AMAZING. We loved our stay here, the staff were wonderful. Still giving it a 5/5 only side note is our room was at the front of the hotel front and the hotel is right on the little main road through town it was a bit noisey with vehicles passing through all night. But other than that it was the best. They had live Swiss music in the little tiny bar on Friday night it was a highlight of our trip to Switzerland.

The most awesome place in the world!

These people are amazing, I can not find enough good things to say. Schüpfen is a quaint little village, everything you need and very quiet. They people are amazing. You can grab the train to wherever you want to go. The food in the restaurant is also amazing. I have travel much, stayed at some fancy places, but this one, this one was the best. If you want to step back and experience the old country, this is the place.

A quiet hotel on a main road. Parking was very convenient and plentiful. Our room and bathroom were super small, on 1st floor, and were pretty spartan. The stairway was kind of steep and long, and not easy to navigate carrying luggage up and down. Breakfast was a little above average. To see or visit anything, you have to drive. Not a lot to see in the small village.

Misleading description - it was copied and pasted from another Hotel Bahnhof. Description boasted a kitchen in every room, which was false. Massively inconvenient as we arrived with food to cook. Asked for a smoke-free room, was giving a smoking room. Room was hot, but since it was located next to a train station, we couldn’t open a window due to the noise. Bathroom was clean but the shower didn’t drain, resulting in a foot stew. Other than that, the host was kind and lovely!
