Vacation Village in the Berkshires

Vacation Village in the Berkshires

10/10 Excellent
"The vacation village was further out in the woods than I realized but appeared to be quite close to a couple of ski slopes. Joe at the front desk was very helpful, looking through the unreserved rooms to see if there was one that required fewer stairs, because there appeared to be many stairs for most of the units. Our room only required one flight of stairs and was excellent. We had basically a very clean, full apartment. A full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and a dining table for four were nice surprises. The room had a balcony overlooking woods so it felt somewhat more private and relaxing (although while driving through the village, I noticed that probably at least half the balconies is actually faced the road.) The bathroom was spacious enough for both of us to get ready for something at once. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub for two. The whole village kind of spiraled around and down the mountain with the check-in up at the top, along with the indoor pool, outdoor pool, game room and other amenities. Our room was probably a quarter mile or more away from it so we didn't get to check it out on our overnight trip. We decided that if we ever get the opportunity to go again, we would definitely stay for longer."

Willows Motel Williamstown

Willows Motel Williamstown

10/10 Excellent
"Our one-night stay at Willows Motel was very pleasant. The staff/managers/owners were friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and clean. We were easily able to control the temperature with up-to-date air conditioning. The free continental breakfast was healthy and generous, including a plentiful assortment of fruits, nuts, dates, etc. to accompany the cereal, breads, bagels, etc. We also appreciated the well-kept small garden areas around the property. We would choose the Willows Motel again if we are staying in the Williamstown area."

Berkshires Untold

Berkshires Untold

10/10 Excellent
"Although an excellent 2-night stay, our comments are intended to make future stays even better. Room temperature: virtually impossible to maintain a comfort level. Basically it was too cold in spite of raising the thermostat temp. At 80 when the heat came on, it was much too hot! Room lighting: too dark; only the bathroom was well lit. Bathroom moisture: in the absence of a ventilation or fan, the bathroom remained damp after a shower and keeping the door open resulted in everything in the bedroom becoming damp. But the positives far outweigh these few items."
