" If you plan to spend your time at the locks and the surrounding area, this is a great location. We stayed in a cottage with 2 queen beds. It’s small as described. Clean! You can park right in front of your door. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and were put in a good location for her. A continental breakfast is included plus free coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day. This was appreciated because the mornings were cold. We would stay again! If you’re looking for luxury, keep looking. If you are looking for a clean space in a great location with a friendly staff, book it. "

"Front Desk staff so friendly and very professional, , there was not 1 piece of garbage laying around outside the property or in hallways. After Staying at the Hampton Inn in Saulte St. Marie, I will be booking reservations at the Hilton Hampton Inn properties only. "What a fantastic stay at Riverside Retreat! Everything was well stocked from the bathrooms to the kitchen. The location was perfect and we all enjoyed sitting outside to watch the ships that went by. Many nights we were up much later than usual waiting for just one more ship to go by! I have already recommended the property to multiple friends and would love to stay again sometime."
