We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, despite all the wonderfully noisy festivities of Feria we still enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep in a safe and comfortable room.

Great location
The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to the beach and only a 10 minute walk into the centre. There are many good restaurants close to the hotel

Relaxing, Friendly Hotel in Sanlucar
Our first time staying at this hotel, and we were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff, and the overall enjoyment of our stay. We also noticed that this hotel is possibly the closest to the beach in Sanlucar and less than 5 minutes walk away

Highly recommended
We had a three night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great location near to the beach and many very good restaurants. Only a 15 minute walk into the town too. Hotel and room clean and pool and surrounds good too. Room and bathroom were both decent sized and buffet breakfast was also good. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a decent place to stay in Sanluca de barrameda.

Nice location close to the beach and just on the edge of the town (15 min walk). Rooms are quite small and slightly retro.. nothing special. The pool area isn’t huge but all in all it’s not a bad option of you want some outside space in the town.

Donana visit
Hotel was in a good location for waterfront dining and there was a bar/cafeteria across the plaza that served locals breakfast with good cafe con leche. The room was on the 2nd floor and offered a peek a boo water view. Parking was sometimes available on the street, but as it was a national holiday there were a lot of visitors in town and we used the underground parking. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were excellent. We didn't try the restaurant and the pool was closed for the season; but very clean. Front desk reception and cleaning staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our four days at the hotel.

Good, clean hotel, very well located near the beach and restaurants and within easy walking distance of the centre of town. The pool came in very handy as a beach alternative. Parking in the area is possible but there is a garage should this be required.

Great hotel
A very clean, spacious and well-run hotel in a great location. Parking around the hotel is difficult so best to go for the hotel’s underground car park if possible. Food is good quality and service good. We would return again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again close to beach, bars and restaurants. About 15 min walk to centre of town, good bus into Puerto Santa Maria Worth a visit and water taxi to Cadiz.

Sanlucar Holiday
We enjoyed our stay from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. Well situated for all amenities this modern Hotel was staffed by friendly people. From the reception to room cleaning staff. There was a first class breakfast with a considerable choice for all tastes and needs. Our room had very good amenities overlooking the pool and was kept clean and tidy. The beach was only 2 minutes walk away with first class restaurants another 2. The town and Old town were about 10 minutes away. We would not hesitate to return to the Macia Donana

My partner and I stayed one night during our 3 week driving holiday around Spain. The hotel was easy to find and was in a good central location. Our room was spotless and had everything we expected. The staff were polite and friendly and the quality of the food was good.

If you want to be near the beach
The hotel is one block from the beach with spacious and comfortable standard room. You can reach the center of the town within a 15 minutes walk. We were there in March and the hotel's restaurant offered a limited menu for dinner which was quite ok but we would have like more choices. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is typical 80's package tour hotel some 10-15 minutes walk from the old centre. The hotel looks a lot better in the pictures. I found a bit strange that the use of the save costs 2.5 euro extra but otherwise there is nothing special to complain about.

A short walk to a selection of good restaurants
My wife and I booked a couple of nights at the hotel for my 65th birthday and because when I was in the wine trade I had read about the Manzanilla sherry being exceptional and totally unique in its taste: Sanlucar being the only area allowed to produce this wine. The hotel was extremely well positioned for the sandy beach and a short stroll away from several very good, although reasonably expensive restaurants. The pool area was very pretty and there was also a really attractive patio area for drinks. the reception was efficient and the room clean with a good view of the sea

Macia Donana is located about 10 minutes walk from the town centre, and close to the beach. It has a small hotel pool, rooms are comfortably furnished, and ours had a terrace, so you could sun yourself there. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely new hotel
We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way from Seville to Tarifa. The hotel is quite new and very close to the most lovely beach (about two blocks away) The staff were most helpful but as we chose to park on the street in front of the hotel instead of spending an extra 12 euros to park, in the morning we found that someone had scratched the whole side of our rental car - just being malicous! Very good value for the price and a nice place to stay for a beach holiday.

Macia Donana hotel near the beach at Sanlucar...
Location was great: a block to the beach and to beach-side restaurants; an easy walk to the plaza, shopping, tapas, etc. Room was nice, clean, nothing fancy, but really fine. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking garage a real plus!

This was my third stay at this hotel, and it seems to have improved considerably since the last time 2 years ago. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there seems to be a programme of upgrading works going on, not before time as the room decor on our last stay was looking a bit tired. Our room this time was clearly one that had been done up - the new decor is much more contemporary but tasteful and comfortable and was a great improvement. I can't comment on the bar or restaurant as we didn't use them. The main attraction for us is the fact that there is easy free parking either outside the hotel or over the road in a free public car park and there's no need to go through the old town to get there - unless you get lost, of course, which we do every time! - and the seafood restaurants in Bajo de Guia, of course.

Excellent location
It was one block from the beach and the pier where we took our ride up the Guadalquivir into the national park. It was a little run- down feeling, but they were doing renovations. These renovations didn't interfere with our stay at all. It wasn't as polished as the other hotels we stayed in in Spain, but there was a huge balcony overlooking the pool where we enjoyed the cool morning before the sun baked everything.

Ett mycket trevligt Hotell på bra läge med promenad avstånd till det mesta. Rymliga bra rum. Mycket trevlig personal. Fantastisk frukost. Det är för lite solstolar vid poolen. Sängarna är det mest obekväma jag någonsin legat i. Alldeles gör hårda. Som att ligga direkt på golvet. Har on i hrla kroppen efter vistelsen. Om sängarna varit okey hade det blivit högsta betyg.
