"Only complaint is the bed wasn't very comfortable, other than that big rooms and super clean! Close shops and food."

"Parking is catch as catch can, but nearby as it is right in the middle of downtown. Nice dining at the lobby, and all representatives were very nice and helpful. Cute, clean rooms where everything seemed fresh and new. If and when I return to Rockford, Hotel Rose is where I will stay. Rogue River Tavern across the street, Corner Bar at the end of the block, and the Old Mill and Rogue River Dam and Park just another block further. Perfect location!"

"It hot tub wasn’t working and the pool temperature was very cold. There were no towels at the pool. I had to get towels from the desk. We had 4 people staying in the room and there was only 3 towels in the room."

"The blackout shade didn’t work. Literally I was in a dark cave. The electrical mechanism never worked. This location doesn’t offer the “breakfast included” option. You can order from “à la carte”, but it’s not convenient when traveling for business because it takes longer to have breakfast ready. The bath tube was dirty. You can see hairs in the shower walls. The holiday inn flag was raised upside down (they may be trying to warned us). Not a good place to stay."

"I booked this property thru Expedia-DO NOT DO THIS!!! I got to the property and did not have a room which I had already paid for in advance!!! To change the reservation I was charged a LARGE fee and Expedia had false advertising free change/cancellation! They do allow the change but claim TRU charges a fee of so basically my 2 night stay changed to 1 night for same price as 2 nights! It was a legit nightmare. Then I get there and they don't have me down for a room and are sold out. So I pull up my confirmation and by some weird miracle they find a King room for 3 of us, but we made due. There was a smell in the room like old smoke, bed was ok, room is TINY!!!! Pool is small, staff did try to be helpful but no one refunded anything or offered anything. I also had to sit on the phone with EXPEDIA for over an hour to get them to "move the funds paid to the hotel" to cover the room. It was all such a joke and needless to say I would never ever ever deal with EXPEDIA again. And Tru obviously partners with them and there is an issue there too! Comfort Suites next door was much nicer and big rooms!!!!"

"Well, the elevator broke down twice during out stay. Paint job was sloppy. Walls were scuffed and dirty. We were on the second floor and the smell of pool chemicals in the hallway was almost unbreathable. A dirty rag was let in the sink. The trash can was left in the middle on the entry way. No body wash in the bathroom. Toilet was so low it was a struggle to use. Ice machine was broken. The breakfast was offered a very short window. They seemed to be understaff. I would never stay there again."
