Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests. "Welcoming, very pleasant & helpful staff. Room clean & modern. Stairs quite steep, there is a lift to the 1st floor only, suppose because it is an older building. Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. The charming family who renovated this 800 year old mini castle spent five years renovating, and it shows. We loved every minute of our visit and we would make a point of returning. Bravo! Mercy!"
