"Terrific, spotless room, firm but comfy beds. AC/heat worked well (yes, we needed both). Pretty view of the beach and ocean!! Only minor concern was that the internet/TV frequently dropped out, but we weren’t there to watch TV :) Easy beach access."

"The Cove hotel was clean & staff were always friendly. One issue - We were not notified that the pool was ripped out and under construction until October 2026. I happened upon a recent review to find out this information. Fortunately, after calling, the hotel right next door (Plantation Island) are letting guests from The Cove use their pools at no charge! They have 2 large pools (1 heated), 3 hot tubs and a kiddie pool. The Cove responded quickly to any requests I had and offered express check out through text. The rooms are nicely updated with great ocean views. We willl definitely stay here again once the pool is completed."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Family Retreat! The kids really enjoyed the arcade games and sand pit as well as the close proximity to the beach. The hot tub was also nice on some of the cooler days we had. It's a great place to stay for a beach visit with children!"

"It was everything we expected it to be and more. A clean room (with supplies), the staff was amazing, they have a hot tub and the balcony was in great view of the beach. My husband and I could t have had a better time (especially with their tiki bar and giant chess board). This is a place you will definitely enjoy. "

"We had such a positive experience with our stay! The property owner was very communicative. When I had questions, we were coming in town on a family trip and wanted to see what types of restaurants and entertainment was in the area and she was more than accommodating with her responses. The property itself was just as the photos, stocked very well in the kitchen with what was needed for cooking and the beach closet was awesome for the kids! It was very nice going on vacation and not having to worry about running to the store to pick up anything other than food. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody the looking to stay in the Ormond Beach area. And the fact that it was just steps away from the beach was perfect. We hope to be able to stay there again in the future! Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality!!"

"Loved this unit. View and beach access was perfect. Unit is small but the view makes up for it. Excellent location! Would stay again! The water pressure was less than stellar, which means the glorious looking shower head didn’t work well at all but again that view and access to the beach made up for anything the unit lacked. There was some kind of water drip we heard but couldn’t figure out where it was and did not note it to the property manager during the stay because we just wanted to enjoy without being bothered with a repairman."

"This is a timeshare resort. I was bothered from the time I checked in , until the day I was leaving by a sales person. I explained several times that I’m here to ride my motorcycle and relax. They kept asking why my wife wasn’t with me. Not every adult male happens to vacation with their spouse, especially at bike week. "
