The room was clean and spacious. Coffee maker was nice (cream/sugar would have been good) I was surprised to return to my room and have it serviced with fresh towels and garbage empty- We stayed in Reno paid twice as much and got nothing.

Love this hotel…. It is within walking distance to ocean beach and San Francisco zoo. Bonus points there Is a coffee shop at the corner and a plant store on the next block. Pizza place and convenient store within walking distance ( same block). Parking included with stay. Room was clean and remodeled with a mini fridge and microwave. Definitely recommend and will be back!

The staff were actually amazing, I was scared because of all the negative reviews I saw about the staff but they were super accommodating and helpful! I stayed for a busy concert weekend and they handled everything amazingly. The room was clean, the ac worked great, and the windows opened in our room so we were able to get fresh air!

The location of this hotel is great; It is just a couple of blocks from the beach and the zoo, very walkable distances. The neighborhood felt very safe. The rooms were clean, comfortable and at a great price for San Francisco.

It was quiet. I slept well there. Mirage inn was in easy walking distance to the beach. It took me 7 minutes to walk there and watch the waves, surfers, pelicans flying. Coffee cafe next door. Bus stops right there. Walking to the Pomeroy rehab center where my event was took 15 minutes or less. I felt safe walking at night. Zoo was across street.

Our room had a fridge, microwave and nice living room space. The bathroom needs a well working fan vent. The blow dryer didn't work when I needed it at night and the front desk had no solution except to wait until the morning until he could find a replacement. The pillows are firm which hurt my head. The room was nice, clean, and modern.

The management was very unfriendly and became annoyed when I don't understand his heavy accent. On Expedia, it says check in end time is anytime. When I called to inform the front desk about my late arrival, they stated that they CLOSE at 11pm and refuse to let me check in after 11pm. I lost one night of the lodging because I couldn't make it in time that I delayed my departure time to next early morning. The shower curtain was smelly. I am NOT going back again even the location is great.

The location was great for going to Stern Grove. The room had plenty of charging outlets, which i really appreciate not having to look for them and then unplug something just to charge my phone. I also appreciated the lighting options. Free parking is was the reason I booked it. Low amenities, but it worked well for me.

Upon check in I had to ring the bell for service. The man that came out to check me in seemed to act a little inconvenienced. Other than that the check in process was good. The hallways could use some fresh paint, the room was nicely updated and very clean. Not fond of the gap between the room door and the floor, also the loud noise from people walking and talking in the hallway. Parking was very easy and convenient. Coffee pot, fridge and microwave was nice to have in room. Overall my stay was good and if in the area again I would book this place.

This is a great spot near the SF Zoo in the Sunset district. Rooms have been recently remodeled and bed was super comfortable. It is an older property, but don't be fooled. Tucked between and market with awesome deli (George's zoo) and a coffee shop to cover all of your bases.
