Gaslamp area

Posted 31-Aug-2015
Pros: Proximity to Gaslamp.
Cons: More affordable parking
Booked this on the fly during a weekend trip to San Diego. Filtered from 4 star hotels in the area. I found the Westin to be average. Not spectacular, not particularly problematic. I was a bit stunned to find that the one night valet fee for parking was in the neighborhood of $40. Close to the gaslamp goings on. On the way out of the hotel the following morning, overheard a couple of young gents complaining about bugs in their room.

Convenient location and nice room.

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Pros: a multiple power strip on the desk, free Dasani, starbacks coffee
Cons: Poor water supply
Location: Gaslamp quater
I staied there for attending the conference at Grand Hyatt which is 0.7 km away from the hotel. The hotel is located next to Horton plaza, and Panera bread is across the street. So every morning I grabbed breakfast at Panera then walked through the Horton plaza to the conference. Unfortunately, the nearest busstop from the airport was a little bit far so a map might be required to find the hotel for the first time. Room was clean and large enough for one person, and I was happy about a multiple power strip on the desk. Bed was very confortable so it was hard to wake up early ;-P If I have a chance to visit San Diego again, I feel like staying there again.

Updated hotel close to popular attractions

Posted 21-Aug-2015
The hotel is very nice and updated. It is within walking distance to shopping and many restaurants. It is also close to some of the big attractions in San Diego. The parking fee is a little steep and it would be nice if there was a complimentary breakfast or free Wi-fi.

Friendly staff, nice facility

Posted 20-Aug-2015
Enjoyed our experience ... helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were nice ... the only thing I would that would need attention is that every morning in our bathroom an odor was present and last a couple hours.

Luxury accomodations at an affordable price.

From the staff's cordial and professional attentions to the ambiance to the cleanliness of the halls and room to the gym...everything was top notch. Loved the smart tv in my room. I'd come back ten more times.

Pros: Posizione
Cons: Ho trovato puntualmente il pigiama " infagottato" se andava bene sulla poltrona, ma spesso buttato sulla scrivania o per terra!!!
Ottimo hotel in perfetta posizione, silenzioso nonostante la vicinanza al centro.

In San Diego for a convention

Posted 20-Aug-2015
Pros: We had a lovely stay at the hotel.
Cons: Nothing
Location: It's a bit far from the convention center for me, but close to shopping and many nice restaurants and the Gas Light District.
We love coming to San Diego whether it's for business or vacation

Beautiful hotel! Centrally located! Parking way too expensive! $42 a night.
