The neighborhood has a few breakfast/coffee shops within a few blocks and a dozen restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. The bay is a few blocks away and the more lively Pacific Beach is a 20 minutes walk north. The condo is reasonably well equipped though sparsely decorated. For example, the base boards are pretty dinged and scuffed up, along with some markings on a few walls, and a pretty cheap couch. The front door has a pretty large gap, although I don't believe it's a safety issue, and also missing blinds (there's a very bright outdoor light above the front door). There's also no dedicated beach gear (chairs and umbrellas). That was a pretty big bummer considering how expensive rentals are from in town. However, the listing was accurate in this regard. I just think it would be great to provide, and then take an inventory. If someone doesn't leave the beach gear at the house - charge them. All that said, the home is still amazing and in an awesome location. On top of that, the management team is absolutely superb.
