"Amazing place, incredible service and wonderful staff. Not a typical hotel stay. It’s remote and on its own incredible property which makes it special. The staff is always available for your needs, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and food was delicious. Extremely satisfied with my stay. "

"We needed a place to stay after flying in and before driving to La Fortuna the next day but wanted something more authentic/local than the American chains. This place suited our needs. It really is a little oasis in the middle of a pretty run down block on the edge of Liberia. The barbed wire and high fence surrounding the property shocked us a bit, but the rooms all face inwards around a beautiful garden and lovely pool, patio, and hot tub. We felt secure because of the fence and gated parking. The included breakfast was very nice. The restaurant was good, and staff lovely. This is clearly a very old hotel and a bit run down (our bathroom), but everything was very clean and in fine working condition. The kids were very happy and spent hours in the pool after our long travel day."
"Andy at the front desk was kind, professional, and found my sunglasses when I had misplaced them. I would highly recommend staying at this property when flying in to Liberia. The rooms were clean."
The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"There isn’t much to not like about this resort. It’s great for families, going with friends or even a work retreat. The bungalows are spacious and modern. The lighting is rather dim though which is hard for us older people! There are plenty of food choices and the buffet had a lot to choose from. The only negative food experience was the $99 wine pairing. It was truly horrible but everything else was so great, we didn’t remember that snafu for long. The staff were very professional and did their jobs well. Everything exuded luxury. The reliable shuttle service made you forget the property was huge. Super convenient. The beach and pools were definitely a highlight. I would without a doubt recommend this property to anyone."
"My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great. The ocean views from the restaurant terrace are absolutely stunning! The hotel has special access to Playa Guiones and Playa Pelada which was super convenient for our family with young kids. The hotel offers many activities including massages in your room, canopy/zip line tours, snorkeling on Pink Island, and much more. We didn’t have time to take advantage of their activities but we will definitely be back since there is so much to explore. We loved Nosara and this hotel offers the best location for beach and town access and is one of the closest hotels to the ocean. We did have a few ants in the room and one spider in the bathroom but we saw less the longer we were there- but you’re also in the jungle! We saw more insects at our home in Los Angeles than we did here. This hotel was wonderful and I’m so glad we got to stay there for our first, but not the last, trip to Costa Rica!"
Luxury by the Beach - Great for Families or Multiple Couples
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great home for a family trip! Paul was very responsive to questions and the property managers were very helpful with booking a private boat tour for us."
"We loved this hideaway! Tucked in off a side road, it’s peaceful and relaxing with a gorgeous view of the sunset just a quick walk from the property. Playas Samara and Carrillo are a quick drive in either direction. We were glad to be cloistered among the giant trees at this property instead of close to the chaos of a beach town.
The staff were so attentive and kind addressing all our needs. Onsite is a restaurant which was excellent and reasonably priced for lunch or dinner.
I would stay here again and again!"
