"Waiting for this Diamond in the rough to find new life, finally the new owners have done that. So many thoughtful amenities...fish cleaning station, an outdoor grill/kitchen and picnic area for CYO meals, laundry on-site, rooms have been upgraded to make the most of your stay here. Such wonderful hospitality!!! There's horse shoe, cornhole, kayaks, and so much more...oh, lets not forget the pool! And so very furbaby friendly too! We will be back most definitely and cannot wait to see what more this special place holds! Congratulations Laura and Hubs! We hope to see y'all sooner than later! Surf's up and be 'Swell'! 😎"

"Very large house, all rooms are a good size and enough bathrooms that we didn’t have to share. House was very clean and in good condition. Pool and hot tub were so nice to have on site. The elevator made it easy to get everything in and out of the house. Large kitchen with everything you need. Sitting room off the kitchen was great to read, play a game or do a puzzle. We had fun playing pool in the basement too. To get to the ocean it’s a .1 walk on a path over dune, house has a nice big wheeled cart to get everything out in one trip. Also has chairs and other beach items there to use. Outside shower and foot cleaner makes it easy to get the sand off. Also speaking of sand the house somehow didn’t have sand everywhere inside which is not normally the case at a house on the beach. Lots of tvs and internet worked well. Great owner that is very helpful and answers questions super fast. Highly recommended this as a great vacation rental!! "

"We had a wonderful experience! Aaron is a delightful host and is one who will reply quickly. The place was gorgeous and we felt safe walking at night. The views are excellent and it’s close to salvo beach and a five minute drive to the Real. We will definitely be back for a month long stay next year when we retire!"

"We spent a week in Salvo with our grown children and their significant others. Dawn from Black Dog was great. We didn’t really have any issues but she was quick to respond to any questions/concerns we had. The sound was BEAUTIFUL. We fished and kayaked. it was a very relaxing week. "
