Located in Saint-Victor-de-Malcap, this beautiful villa offers a private swimming pool for cooling off and a manicured garden for strolling. The 8-people property comes with 3 bedrooms and is ideal for a group or a large family.

You will easily get your breads from the bakery or essentials from the supermarket in the town centre, 500 m away. There is a restaurant at 500 m, if you wish to eat out. Enjoy water sports by the river in St. Victor de Malcap, 1 km away. Nearby town of Saint Ambroix, 2 km away has more facilities.

Enjoy your morning cuppa and fresh croissants in the furnished patio. The property is heated to keep you warm and there is table tennis table and boules court for enjoying the day playing recreational games. Barbecue sets the mood right for evenings. Très bonne semaine dans cette maison

Une semaine très agréable, maison tout confort, belle piscine agréable avec des chaleurs du sud, propriétaire très agréable. Un Petit moins le soleil sur la terrasse l après midi . Il faudrait trouver un système d ombrage mais grand jardin avec arbres. L autre point important à changer parasols à la piscine. Ceci dit je recommande cette location

Woning is van alle gemak voorzien, rustig gelegen. Zwembad is heerlijk en gebruiksvriendelijk met kinderen, door de omheining. Enig minpuntje (maar zeker geen reden om niet meer terug te gaan) is het ontbreken van airco in de slaapkamers.

Na een autorit van 10h waarvan de laatste 2h door een prachtig berggebied kwamen we aan in de bar van de huiseigenaar om 16h, de eigenaar maakte er geen probleem van dat we wat vroeger waren en reed ons met veel plezier naar het vakantieverblijf waar hij ons zorgvuldig door het huis leidde om vervolgens de sleutel te overhandigen en onze vakantie kon beginnen. Wat op de foto's misschien niet zo duidelijk is, is dat de villa echt een grote verzorgde tuin heeft waar kinderen naar hartenlust kunnen spelen en ravotten. Het zwembad is met z'n maximale diepte van 1m80 perfect voor een duik, terwijl je (ik althans) er nog altijd kan staan om met kleinere kinderen in de buurt toch altijd een voet op de grond te kunnen hebben indien ze af en toe nog wat hulp nodig hebben in het water. De villa op zich was mooi,verzorgd en proper, alles was voor ons aanwezig (zelfs een vrij grote ijskast en diepvriezer) . Als ik een minpuntje moet zeggen zou het zijn dat vlak aan het terras achteraan het vol staat met bloemen en planten die bijen en wespen aantrekken, waardoor je wel wat last kan ondervinden. Ook mochten er wat meer schaduwplekken zijn, wij verhuisde de tafel en stoelen rond 16h weg van het terras want bij ons was het 34° en om dan recht in de zon te zitten was voor ons niet te doen. Dit waren voor ons dan ook de enigste kleine verbeterpuntjes, die totaal niet opwegen tegen de vele positieve punten van ons verblijf. De eigenaar komt 2 keer per week in de voormiddag discreet naar het zwembad kijken en vraagt telkens of alles in orde is, echt een vriendelijke man. In St-Victor de Malcap is niet veel te zien, de kruidenierszaak had wel croissants en broodjes maar wij vonden ze niet zo lekker, wij reden dagelijks naar St-Ambroix voor verse producten waar vele grote supermarkten zijn. Kort samengevat echt één van de beste villa's waar wij ooit al verbleven hebben, zeker met kinderen een no-brainer voor het omheind zwembad, ik zou ze iedereen aanbevelen!!!!!!

De sleuteloverdracht gebeurde in het restaurant van de vriendelijke eigenaar. Hij kwam 's avonds ter plaatse voor verdere uitleg. Het was voor ons een prima ingerichte woning in een landelijke omgeving. Bovendien stilte, geen last van autoverkeer in een dorpje met leuke épicerie o.a. voor brood op wandelafstand. De kanotocht van de Cèze (tot 12 km) en van de Gorges du Chassezac (tot 10 km) zijn idyllisch.

We hebben vanuit het mooie vakantiehuis Arles (100 km), Nimes, Avignon, de Ardes ...

We hebben vanuit het mooie vakantiehuis Arles (100 km), Nimes, Avignon, de Ardesch en Aigues-Mortes bezocht. Het was te doen, maar voor Arles en Avignon ben je ongeveer anderhalf uur onderweg en soms over heuvelachtig terrein. Wij zaten twee weken in dit vakantiehuis, de afstanden waren daarom voor ons geen probleem. Het huis zelf is zeer netjes en het onverwarmde zwembad was heerlijk om af te koelen. Het enige storende element was dat we vooral 's ochtends en 's avonds hondengeblaf hoorden vanuit een hondenopvang of iets dergelijks, gelegen in de bossen buiten het dorpje (dus niet direct naast het huisje). In Saint Victor de Malcap is niets te doen. Er staat wel een restaurant en een patisserie, maar daar zijn we niet geweest. We hebben elke zelf gekookt, omdat er in de nabije omgeving niet veel gelegenheid is om lekker uit eten te gaan. In het nabij gelegen plaatsje Saint Ambroix hebben we onze boodschappen gehaald. Hier zijn drie goede en grote supermarkten Intermarche, H market (Carrefour) en een grote Lidl met 's ochtends lekkere warme broodjes (wij vonden deze heel lekker). Saint Ambroix heeft op dinsdag een marktje. Verder is deze plaats leuk om eens verder te bekijken, boven op de heuvel staat een kerk en je bereikt deze via nauwe Middeleeuwse straatjes en steegjes. Leuk en verrassend om door heen te lopen. Wij zouden dit huisje aanraden, als je deze omgeving wilt bezoeken.

Endroit très calme et pas envahi touristiquement. Le village de Saint-Victor -de -malcap est très sympathique à visiter (petites ruelles et vieilles maisons) ainsi que saint ambroix situé à 3 kms. La rivière de la ceze offre également de très jolies visites avec ses bancs de gravier dans ses méandres.
