« If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy mountain getaway for one or two people this hit the spot. Beautiful and rustic but the cabin had everything we needed for a few days. Great views from the porch. Kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs, including olive oil and some basic spices. Bed was comfy and cabin was clean. It’s a bit of a drive into Asheville but worth the rustic digs. Innkeepers gave great driving directions and instructions for our stay. »

« This little cabin is awesome. It’s clean. It feels secluded. I would not recommend it for someone who has bad knees. The steps going up to the cabin are steep. But that’s the mountains for you. »

« We loved our stay at 4 Lucky Ducks! There was never a dull moment between the slide, fishing, ping pong, and enjoying the amenities of the Riverbend community. The kitchen was well stocked which is huge for us since we prefer cooking most meals when traveling. Highly recommend staying here! »

« Our family vacation was great! The best part was the easy access to the water, kayaks and paddle board. We loved the location and would definitely return again. A couple of suggestions…..the kitchen could use a deep scrub and the downstairs bathroom could use some TLC. Also, I might suggest some stair treads on both sets of stairs……..great house and wonderful vacation. There were 14 of us ages 2 weeks to 75 years old and we loved every minute of the week! »

« Very nice, clean cabin, especially loved the deck in the back. Loved this cabin and will try to rent it again if I get back to this part of the country. Jorge was great when I had a question on a Sunday morning he immediately returned my call. Liked the fact that it also had a washer and dryer. The only thing I regretted was I didn't get to see a bear! :) »

« The cabin is well appointed with W/D, fireplace, TV, hot tub, kitchen supplies, etc. Everything in the cabin is in working order. For a "fishing cabin", it was a good value for the price. It is not in a great place to view Lake Lure as it is at the tip of a small finger and there is still reconstruction going on from 2024 Hurricane Helene. The inside walls need to be cleaned (dusty) but otherwise the cabin was pretty clean. It was perfect for a 2 night rest up as part of a long cross...
