"The hotel was very well located, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was clean. We honestly have nothing negative to say — our stay was perfect! The only downside is that we stayed for just one night. I definitely would have loved to stay longer. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"Outstanding Stay and Exceptional Service at Hampton Inn Potsdam I wanted to take a moment to share how wonderful our stay at the Hampton Inn in Potsdam was this past weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and inviting, and every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and accommodating. We especially want to recognize Ryan for his exceptional customer service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. While we were having breakfast, we had the opportunity to observe how he interacted with each guest, and it was clear that he takes great pride in making everyone feel welcome and well cared for. His positive attitude and willingness to help truly stood out. Ryan is an incredible asset to the Hilton family, and our family cannot say enough about the wonderful impression he made on us. Employees who provide this level of genuine care and hospitality are truly special, and we hope he has a long and successful career in the hospitality industry. He is truly one in a million! The cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. "Beautiful location and scenery, especially from the back balcony. Host meet us at check-in and was super nice. Susan offered to help us with any information in & around the area if we wanted. The roosters were the quietest ones I've ever heard. Although I do wear earplugs, I could still hardly hear them after taking my earplugs out. As mentioned, the kitchen has a two burner hot plate, but it worked just fine to cook up the amazing fresh eggs we were provided. Yogurt, milk,butter and English muffins were also complimentary. The fridge was a little bigger than a dorm fridge. So don't expect to chill a lot of wine, or other beverages,or keep a l lot of food cold. Also there's the smallest ice cube try I've ever seen in the tiny freezer. I did managed to fit my three small ice packs in it. So there's no ability to chill beverages quickly with ice. Just be prepared with a cooler as backup. This wasn't a problem for is, but I just want others to be aware so they can be better prepare. I was able to watch a neighboring farmer mow his hay and bale it into those large round mounds you see all over the place in the country. It was peaceful and educational."

"If you are considering staying here, don't hesitate - book it!Our stay was excellent, I can't say more about the peacefulness and tranquility on the pond. Also, had all the amenities available if we wanted to partake in any activities. We used the kayaks, my first time ever, had a blast!The loons on the pond were so fun to watch and listen to, there is nothing like it. We also spotted a deer at the opposite end of the pond.The sauna in the little cabin was an added bonus - such a cute little place to go and unwind even more.The beds were incredibly comfortable - both in the downstairs bedroom and in the loft.We took the short hike to Lampson Falls, it was just perfect for us. A short walk through the woods on a nice wide, flat trail and the falls were beautiful. Had dinner the 2 E's in Edwards, it was very good and the staff were very friendly. We wanted to check out the Wayside Roadhouse, but unfortunately they were closed that day. Looked like a fun place to grab a drink.If I had to make any suggestions at all, I would say that the TV selection was a bit lacking, but I assume the options are limited. There IS a DVD player there, so I might suggest to bring some movies.We had an absolute wonderful time and wished we could of stayed longer. Teresa & Chris were excellent hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely return and hope to do so.Thank You, Teresa & Chris!"
