"I know this is going to sound made up but it is not. First, the hotel has a very musty smell. The room towels were not stocked. The tub had not been cleaned. The water to the toilet leaked. The lamps had no lampshade. The AC was missing chunks of plastic and the blankets had stains. Breakfast was ego waffles, toast, mini bagels, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. No spoons (they were out) and if something needed to be restocked the young lady acted very put out. The hotel was mostly quiet except for an hour the lady across the hall was, yelling. This hotel chain is one of my favorite, but I won’t stay at this one again."

"Our room had a full kitchen, clean and up-to-date bathroom with a walk-in shower, and it worked like new. When we arrived the room was cold, we turned the heat on right away, but it took hours to get up to 68. I don't know if the system in that room was working properly. We did not report it as we were just there for a quick stop and left early in the morning before the office was open. Mattress was OK, but bed was creaky and clunked against the wall when you sat down in it. So the bed and heater could be improved but otherwise clean, friendly, and there is a great restaurant right on the block."

"We've been staying here for years, 1-3 nights/year. And over that time, the staff has recognized us when we arrive, greeted us as old friends, and could not have been more helpful! The rooms are constantly being upgraded, new carpets, new beds(!), and most recently, a remodled bathroom. Every change has been well thought out, and has enhanced our stay. Also, the breakfasts are really good, too. An excellent value!"

"The home was clean and spacious like the pictures show, however, it is a stretch to state that it sleeps 16. There are four beds that will accommodate 8 adults comfortably. The sofas in two of the bedrooms, large sofa in the living room and a blow up single mattress are a stretch to advertise as "sleeping accommodations". We traveled with our grandkids, ages 4-13, which happen to work out for needs, as kids can sleep on sofas. However, if you you booking this home, do not plan on having 16 adults sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious and clean, however it only had the bare bones of eating utensils and dishes. Definitely did not offer service for 16 renters. We took advantage of the amenities at the lodge (restaurant and pool) which were very nice. The views from the home were beautiful and we took a nice walk throughout the neighborhood. If you are fine with downsizing and bringing supplies, this home will workout."
