Down a Country road, across from the river. With only 5mins drive to town. A well equipped house with Freeview, free access to netflix, wifi available. Plenty of off road parking. We are also pet friendly. With various activities around to keep you busy as you want.! Maybe go down to the river to do a spot of fishing or Stroll along the beach track then head to one of Hokitika's many cafes for coffee. Wander around Hokitika's Craft Shops or out to the Hokitika Gorge then to the treetop walkway. Hire a bike and do the Bike Trail. See the Glow worms. Or maybe a game of golf. Or just out to the lakes. Also a drive to the Franz Josef Glacier which is only one and a half hours drive or up to Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. Then after a busy day back to the house- relax and on colder days light the fire or switch on the heat pump. Maybe head up to Woodstock tavern for that dinner and music. Not far from town but on the outskirts, either drive or cycle the excellent cycleways to town. Huge property, quiet and private. Really well equipped. A good place to be central to everything but come to for rest and relaxing. A wonderful base for us, just up the road to the centre, or the treetop walk/ziplining and walks along the beach. Beautiful view of the river, great bird life too. Playground and toys for kids.
